Position Title: Regional RN Facilities Manager

 

Organization: Charlotte Area Outpatient Surgical Facility

Location: Charlotte Area, NC

Job Summary: 
We are currently searching for a Full-time Regional RN Facilities Manager to coordinate the overall direction of our Ambulatory Surgery Centers and who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the ongoing operations of all Five ASCs.
  • Directs and supervises services in accordance with governmental and other regulatory standards.
  • Facilitates development of department mission, goals, policies, procedures, budget, and work standards.
  • Compiles/analyzes data, prepares and presents statistical information on department performance, productivity, activity, budget to administration.
  • Oversees nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance and restoration of patients' health and wellness.
  • Oversees patient needs and suggestions solutions to patient care problems.
  • Manage budgets in accordance with operation guidelines.
  • Management of & collaborative relationships with Five Center Leaders.
  • Selects, orients/trains, evaluates staff.
  • Ensures the development and delivery of nursing education to staff.
  • Regional Manager is responsible for managing all Nurse Managers and is required to maintain all skills and competencies as outlined in the Endo RN job description.
  • Reviews and maintains documentation required for JCAHO accreditation.
  • Participates in the JCAHO accreditation surveys.
  • Participates in negotiation of vendor contracts for all units.
  • Overseeing contracts with third party vendors.
  • Overseeing maintenance of facilities.

Requirements:

Knowledge skills needed:

  • Knowledge of management and organizational theory to supervise the operation of the department including principles of employee development to train, delegate and mentor staff.
  • Knowledge of medical safety practices and requirement to evaluate existing standards and implement new procedures.
  • Knowledge of current nursing practices and clinical state-of-the-art.

Minimum qualifications:

  • You must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Business Related field and be a Licensed Registered Nurse with ACLS certification.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in ASC management experience with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated evidence of leadership, collaboration, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have computer knowledge to be computer literate.
