Position Title: Practice Administrator

Location: Wilmington, NC
Five physician, independent single specialty rheumatology group practice is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator with broad responsibilities to include finance, human resources, contract negotiation, and operational oversight. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record in medical billing, superior leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of medical management experience with a Bachelors degree in health care management, accounting, finance, or other related field.
- Previous experience with EHR/PM systems, QuickBooks or similar, skilled in Excel and Word, experience with MIPS Quality programs.
- Membership in NCMGMA, MGMA, ACHE or other related professional associations preferred.
- Proven management history, excellent written and verbal communication skills with clear demonstration of career progression.
The successful candidate will:
Report directly to the board of directors, manage daily business operations to include financial reports, manage revenues and expenses, annual budget, oversee collections and accounts receivable, negotiations with third party payers, infusion department oversight, compliance oversight, and technology management. Monitor, analyze, assess, and effectively communicate practice progress.
